Educational testing and access arrangement

An Educational Assessment is a highly effective way to assess your child’s educational skill level as well as being a screen for learning difficulties. AccessLearning owns a wide range of testing tools to identify precisely your child or adolescents learning profile which is presented in an educational assessment report providing detailed information to aid in the identification of appropriate and effective academic interventions and access arrangements.

Services offered to parents

Parents who have the requisite knowledge to support their children effectively, with their studies leads to children who are better prepared for school success.
AccessLearning offers private consultations and parental workshops on a range of educational topics to support you in making the best possible parental decisions for your child or adolescent’s education. AccessLearning provides:

  • Case management and consultation services (e.g. customized private tuition, development of IEPs (Individualized Educational Plans), interpretation of educational psychology assessment reports, school advocacy and school placement)
  • Referrals to other specialists (e.g. Educational Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychotherapists, Adolescent Psychiatrists, Adolescent Neurologists, Higher Education Counsellors and private content tutors

Educational assessment services for Access Arrangements (e.g. Cambridge and IBO)* and to inform instruction and to assess success of educational interventions*
Courses and workshops on:

  • Supporting nontraditional learners (K-12)
  • Supporting your adolescent in middle school
  • Supporting your adolescent in IGCSE, A-Levels, IB and EU Baccalaureate course choices
  • Transition to middle school, high school and university

Research indicates that teachers who are well trained in the differentiated and inclusive teaching are more effective teachers, bringing improved achievement among students. AccessLearning offers professional development workshop and seminars on topics related to neurodevelopmental disorders for:

  • Pre-service and in-service teachers and teaching assistants;
  • Consultative services including comprehensive needs analysis and recommendations on the establishment and/or development of Learning Support/SEN service delivery models, SEN and Response to Intervention programmes;
