The Aim:
The purpose of this format is to provide external exam candidates with sessions which are supervised, structured, intensive and flexibly scheduled. The four-hour session is designed to support completion of independent projects such as Internal Assessments (IAs) and the TOK essay as well as catch up time for those who may have fallen behind in one or more courses. The focus will be on approaches to successful completion of independent study and independent projects:
- Time management strategies for independent study and projects
- Project management of EEs, IAs and TOK essay
- Active strategies for engaged learning
- Using rubrics and command words strategically
- Concentrating for long periods of time
- Strategies for coping with procrastination
- Individualized coaching time for each participant*
- Stress management techniques
*Please note that the aim the coaching is to provide structure and supervision for project completion and any guidance given must be in accordance with external exam board regulations.

Fee schedule:
The days are designed for 4 participants. The fee is based on a daily rate and includes snacks, beverages and lunch:
